SEARCHING FOR LOST OR MISSING PEOPLE
For a decade, Chesapeake Search Dogs has worked closely with the state police, the Department of Natural Resources, federal authorities, and local police and fire agencies in Maryland and Pennsylvania to provide services in any and all situations involving—

Natural disasters
Transportation disasters
Urban search/collapsed buildings
EVENTS FOR EDUCATION
Chesapeake Search Dogs is mobilized and organized to promote education, safety and awareness to the general public, as well as provide support for the other search and rescue resources within the region. We are available to:
Provide interactive demonstrations and lectures about our mission and services to businesses, schools, scout troops, clubs (e.g., 4H, Rotary, Kiwanis, American Legion, etc.), fairs, and similar events and organizations.
Educate children about being prepared in the woods, what to do if they become lost, and how to approach dogs.
Provide opportunities for graduating high school seniors to fulfill community service hours.

Chesapeake Search Dogs can only be called into service by local/state/federal law enforcement or government. All of our services are provided at no cost.
