We have a variety of expenses in buying and maintaining our equipment such as radios, batteries, battery chargers, etc.

Our members carry a significant load. Beyond the expense of responding to a search, our handlers must prepare themselves and their dogs at a significant cost of both time and money. It costs a handler an

average of $4,500 of their own personal funds to field themselves and their dog. Many of our handlers average 100 miles round trip weekly just to attend our weekly training.
